Job Description- General Manager

  1. Plans, directs and oversees the operational policies, initiatives and objectives of the business to ensure efficient operations across all business sectors

  2. Lead, develop and review business operation plans to continuously improve systems and processes of core areas of the business including administration, finance and Human Resource

  3. Develop and review physical and technical infrastructure that enhances effectiveness and efficiency of operations of all business sectors

  4. Develop and review strategy plans to maintain and increase business profitability, cash flow and revenue

  5. Direct the functions of budgeting, accounting, reporting and financially counsel subordinate leaders to appraise operating results in terms of cost, budget operating policies, trends and increase profit opportunities

  6. Ensure business has necessary systems, processes and policies to comply with legal requirements

  7. Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.

  8. Develop and review appraisal, remuneration and reward framework to ensure employees are valued

Requirement:

•Minimum 5 years of comparable managerial relevant industry related work experience in management/marketing related roles

•A Bachelor qualification is preferred

•A self-motivated can-do attitude

•Experience in public relations is important

•The willingness to learn and lead the business

•The ability to prioritise and work while managing the team

•Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

•Willingness to travel interstate and overseas for work related tasks

•Working long hours, under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
